Alpha C is a high-performance all-mountain ski boots that Salomon collaborate with Corvette to design for ski racers and advanced skiing lovers. Protective and lightweight to contain comfortable and performance during skiing. Use the APP to adjust the heated inner boot to keep warm. Through the sock liner's sensors and chips, let AI technology provide pressure distribution, speed, and data analysis on the app.

Pain Points

Comfort

 

Hard shells increase pressure points, leading to toe, ankle, and instep pain. Tight ski boots can lead to poor circulation, triggering cold or numb feet and affecting race form

Weight Issues

Although lighter than racing ski boots, many all-around ski boots are still heavier than freeride or mountaineering boots, which may increase leg fatigue over long periods of skating or walking. Lightweight ski boots may sacrifice some support and durability

Donning and Doffing

All-mountain ski boots are usually stiff and still difficult to put on and take off, especially when the shell hardens in cold temperatures. Sometimes need to use a heated boot bag or warmer to help them get on and off

Ankle Flex Range

In real terms, 10 to 14 degrees of ankle flex is about neutral. Those who have more or less could almost certainly benefit from some adjustment to their boots, particularly those with limited ankle flex.

Limited Flexion Skier

Skiers with limited flexion often display a number of symptoms, such as severe thigh burn or difficulty staying forward on their skis on steep terrain. They may also have a chronic heel lift, no matter how tight they buckle their boots. This restriction is likely to promote a posterior or back-seat skiing stance, isolating the thigh muscles and causing thigh burn.

Through the sensors and chips located insole, AI technology provides pressure distribution, speed, posture analysis, and data on the phone

Technology Application

Qi Wireless Charging

 

Transmitter (Tx): A wireless charging pad connected to a power source, generating an electromagnetic field. 
Receiver (Rx): A coil embedded inside the ski boot, which receives the electromagnetic energy and converts it into electrical power

Edge pressure AI feedback

 

Helps skiers refine technique via connected app. Uses pressure sensors + AI algorithms to track how skiers distribute weight and apply pressure on ski edges. Analyzes force distribution to detect understeering, oversteering, or balance

Bluetooth Smart Heating System

 

By connecting to a cell phone App via Bluetooth, the user can adjust the temperature
